Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you use SpeakEasier, we collect:

  • Account information — your email address when you sign up
  • Style profile — your texting preferences (tone, emoji usage, humor style) that you set during onboarding
  • Contact information — names and relationship details you optionally add for people you text with
  • Usage data — how many replies you've generated and when
  • Message content — the messages you paste into the App to generate replies (used only to generate your reply and not stored permanently)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Generate personalized reply suggestions
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Improve the App and AI quality over time
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. AI Processing

Messages you submit are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate reply suggestions. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not use your message content to train AI models.

4. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest.

5. Third-Party Services

SpeakEasier uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Anthropic — AI reply generation
  • RevenueCat — subscription management
  • Apple / Google — payment processing

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Children's Privacy

SpeakEasier is not directed at children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
